This tour kicks off when you join your certified Alaskan guide at the meeting point, the alley between The Historic Anchorage Hotel and the Hilton Hotel, the very site where Anchorage’s first Chief of Police, John “Black Jack” Sturgus, met his mysterious end. You’re guide will take you on a 4-hour interactive adventure, where you’ll take on the role of both detective and explorer to piece together the unsolved murder.
Navigate through 4 to 5 pivotal stops in downtown Anchorage, guided by cryptic clues and riddles. Each challenge will take around 30 to 40 minutes, teamwork and wit will be essential to progress. Along the way you’ll engage with local shop owners, residents and employees with each interaction unveiling a new piece of the puzzle.
